應用英文系  Applied English

        本院之應用英文系在這多元文化及全球化的環境中，不論是將在教會的機構或是在各中小企業及大型公司服務，為學生準備好面對職場上的挑戰。教師藉著各項整合英語應用能力的課程，如中西文化差異、英語溝通及教學技巧的演練，商務基本知識技能應用來教學及訓練學生。  透過這樣工讀實習的課程與商務知識實務的合作，如此職業導向的學習經驗，使學生在職場更具競爭力。本系的低師生比例與小班制度乃強調學校重視學生的價值與鼓勵學生課堂的參與和師生的互動。   然而本系推崇在基督教的教義中耶穌基督為學生個人責任感與成長最好學習的榜樣，鼓勵學生追尋祂為人無私服務的步伐。

畢業展望

本系畢業生出路包括在本會教育機構及福音廣播傳媒機構。或一般補教機構私人企業組織外商公司。或者繼續至本院海外姊妹大學及其他國外大學深造。

 Welcome

Language is a gift from God; how it came about and developed is beyond our wild imagination! Amazingly, it keeps growing delighting us every time. All languages are therefore worth our appreciation, even passion. English, perhaps because of its undeniably international status receives the most attention. For the sake of development and international relations, more and more countries desire to have English as their second language Taiwan, being one of them.

We, at Taiwan Adventist College, English Department shares the dream of every Taiwanese to see their young in international scenes, confident and competent as they express the will and the ideas of their people.
